through Dec. 5. All of the state's sports information directors are
encouraged to nominate worthy candidates from their schools.

The North Carolina Collegiate Sports information Association
(NCCSIA) completed its fifth year of recognizing “All State” student-athletes. Since 2003, NCCSIA has recognized at total of 653 student-athletes.
The organization selects both college and university division teams in seven
sports: men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, baseball,
softball and volleyball.

Tampa, Fla. – Twenty CoSIDA members received 25-Year Awards at the organization's annual workshop to be held in Tampa, Fla. The recipients were presented their awards at the luncheon on July 2. Two North Carolina SIDs--Steve Shutt and Joe Browning (pictured) --were among the honorees.
