The North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) is soliciting nominations for its 2009 All-State Men’s and Women’s Soccer Teams through Dec. 9. All of the state's sports information directors are encouraged to nominate worthy candidates from their schools. Nominations should be sent to the coordinators listed on the attached form.

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Bob Lowe has been promoted to assistant athletics director for communications, announced Jean Lojko, GC's athletics director. Lowe was hired as The Pride's sports information director in the Fall
of 1999. He has provided publicity for GC's 16 intercollegiate athletic
teams.
Lowe also serves as the treasurer of NCCSIA.

HIGH POINT -- Tom Berry, a Durham native who covered all levels of
sports from high school to the professional ranks, died Sunday. For
more than 20 years, the High Point Enterprise carried Berry's byline as
he became of one of the state's leading sports journalists. Berry was a media panelist at the 2009 NCCSIA Annual Meeting.
