Charlotte, N.C. – Seven student-athletes from four institutions, including three players from a UNC Asheville squad that finished with a 25-10 overall record, make up the 2009 North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) University Division All-State women’s volleyball team, released Monday.
UNC Asheville libero Raquel Miotto and outside hitter Kelsey Benorden both make their second straight appearance on the all-state team while Bulldogs middle hitter Lauren Ficker (pictured) is one of five first-time honorees. UNCA was one of two schools to have multiple players recognized as Elon middle hitter Caroline Lemke and right side hitter Traci Stewart were both recognized. Campbell outside hitter Emily Werner and UNC-Chapel Hill setter Cora Harms round out the squad.

Raleigh, N.C. – Eleven student-athletes representing seven institutions were selected to the seventh annual North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) College Division All-State women’s soccer team.
Senior goal keeper Suzie Hinman (pictured left) from the Pfeiffer University was the only unanimous pick. Alex Calvert of Meredith College was the only returning member to this year’s team earning her third spot on the top of the midfielder position.

Charlotte, N.C.- A trio of players from Charlotte and UNC Greensboro, which won 16 and 13 matches respectively in 2009, comprise the 11-member North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) University Division All-State women’s soccer team released today. The team, which is the sixth named by NCCSIA, includes four players, including all three from Charlotte, who appeared on a previous squad. Davidson senior Kyri-Bye Nagel (pictured) is a three-time All-NCCSIA selection.

BUIES CREEK, N.C. -- Eleven student-athletes from six universities have been named to the 2009 North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) University Division All-State Men’s Soccer Team.
The team consists of NCAA Division I student-athletes from North Carolina colleges and universities. Nominees were submitted by North Carolina sports information professionals. NCCSIA members voted for the all-state teams. Charlie
